Angie's Day is a non-profit charitable organization that operates out of the North Myrtle Beach and Little River, South Carolina communities. We exist to financially assist those individuals and families who reside in our community and are struggling with severe illness. Angie's Day is inspired by the memory of Angela Lewis, dedicated wife, mother, and resident of North Myrtle Beach. Angie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2006 and after a hard fought battle, passed away in January 2010 at the age of 37. In gratitude for the countless prayers, support and acts of kindness her family received from the community during this difficult period, her family and friends created this benefit to assist other local families struggling with similar circumstances.
Each spring, in late April or early May, Angie's Day holds a fundraising event that includes Friday barbecue lunch deliveries to local businesses and a dinner/silent auction on Friday evening. Friday evening is a fun-filled family friendly event with various types of entertainment, face painting for the kids, silent auction and raffle items for all ages, as well as homemade baked goodies and a delicious barbecue dinner. All proceeds benefit the recipients of the Angie's Day organization. Come join us for this amazing, joyful event and become a part of "community helping community".
